Theatre Designer

I am a third year Theatre Design student studying at Nottingham Trent University. I will graduate in 2023 and aspire to eventually go into teaching for Art and Design. I started studying at Nottingham Trent in 2019, where unfortunately half of the academic year was hindered by corona virus. I had to adapt to these circumstances by completing the first year of a practical course online. I took out the next year, working at a test site for corona virus and eventually in a secondary school as an Art technician. Upon re-joining the course for the 2021/22 academic year I had a lot more hands on experience throughout my second year; creating a set and performance for a deaf and hearing primary school audience, creating carnival costumes along Clary Salandy and making a life size reconstruction of a 2 meter x 2 meter space within the university (construct the moment). Most recently I have designed and made an immersive, sensory reading corner for a special needs school in Nottingham, Oak Field school.
