Assassins: Harrow Boys School

The most recent production which I have seen was a production at a local school near home of Assassins, a musical created by John Weidman and Stephen Sondheim. I was not expecting a high end production but was thoroughly surprised by both the acting and the design elements. The main aspect of set was 8 plaques at the top of the stage which depicted each president mentioned within the musical. As each of these were assassinated their normal plaque was replaced with defaced images of each president, dressed in clowns outfits with their eyes crossed out. The set of the set was small truck pieces, simple yet effective for the small scale production it was.
